I read a story called "The Emperors New Clothes."

The Emperor is enormously vain and likes nothing better than to show off his clothes.

Bertie says that in real life, people are often more silly in a crowd than they are on their own. If you think that everybody else believes something, then it must be true - and you have to be very brave to be like the little boy in the story and stand up and say what can see with your own eyes.

You've done good work! However, I think translating takes a lot of time so it's usually better not to translate if you feel fairly sure that you are understanding what you are reading.
